Lindsey C. Padgett is a native of Leesburg, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2004, and then attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2008. Upon graduation, Ms. Padgett joined the firm of Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley and Hinson, LLP, during which time she was mentored by the late Rudolph N. Patterson, a preeminent expert in the field of Social Security law. In 2016, Ms. Padgett joined the firm of Lee Durham, LLC.
Ms. Padgett has spent the majority of her practice specializing in Social Security law. She represents individuals through all stages of the adjudicative process who have been denied benefits of Social Security programs including, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Disability Insurance for adults, children, widows/widowers and survivors. In recent years, Ms. Padgett’s practice has expanded, and she now also represents those who have been injured in negligence and liability cases, as well as individuals who have been injured while working.

She is a member of the Dougherty Circuit Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia, including its General Practice and Trial Law, Tort and Insurance Law, and Workers’ Compensation sections.  Ms. Padgett is also a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).
